This limited aged single varietal dry red wine made 100% of Merlot grapes. Aged 24 months in French oak. Totally produced 4,932 bottles.
Characteristics:
Stakhovsky Merlot Reserve has an aroma of dried cherries, tobacco, spices. The wine is full-bodied with notes of plums and spices.
Food pairing:
Pairs excellently with roasted veggies and with umami tastes, and with richly sauced steaks. It is recommended to serve at a temperature of 18°C/64F.

Ukraine’s best tennis player Sergiy Stakhovsky started wine making in 2015. Stakhovsky Winery is located in Western Ukraine in the footsteps of Carpathian mountains. Winery’s 20 hectares of wine slops are facing southwest. Stakhovsky uses French oak barrels and high-tech equipment from Italy and Germany.
Zakarpattia region:
Zakarpattia is one of the best wine regions in Ukraine. It is protected from the cold front by the Carpathian mountains. The region has mild sun light which is wonderfully combined with an optimal rainfall amount. The soil is predominantly limestone full of minerals and micronutrient elements which add a unique taste to the grapes, and wine gains a very special nature.
