Winemaker’s notes:
Made from grapes grown in the very best micro-plots of the Shabo terroir. Created using the classic champagne technology. Wine is aged in bottles at least three years. The classic champagne technology is introduced and controlled at Shabo by international experts from the Institut Oenologique De Champagne (France, Champagne).
Characteristics:
The wine has an aroma of cream, citrus and mineral notes. The taste is prolonged, fresh, with a very balanced acidity. The aftertaste is long and very pleasant.
Food pairing:
Excellent aperitif. Goes well with a host of dishes, including caviar, salmon and tuna. Also great with sorbet. Serving temperature: 8-10°C.
Shabo winery
The wine-making settlement of Shabo was founded by Swiss emigrants already in 1822, although wine has been made in the area for more than 2000 years. In over 200 years the company has grown into one of Ukraine’s largest quality wine producers, winning more than 500 awards internationally and in Ukraine, including gold medals from Decanter.
